Government leak says UK nightclubs could reopen with “entry checks”
The Times has obtained leaked information from the government and hospitality industry detailing that although clubs are “a challenging area to operate under any form of physical-distancing requirements” they could be allowed to reopen with “entry checks”. This would include temperature checks and hand sanitisation upon entry and socially-distanced queuing.

The music is amplified with a large, powerful sound reinforcement system , typically with large subwoofers to produce a deep bass sound. The music is often accompanied by laser light shows , projected coloured images , visual effects and fog machines. While some raves may be small parties held at nightclubs or private homes, some raves have grown to immense size, such as the large festivals and events featuring multiple DJs and dance areas e.

The atmosphere was amazing, and the drugs suited me perfectly — I had never been a big drinker, so I started taking Ecstasy and speed [amphetamine] and just drank Diet Coke. It was a calorie-free night out, for one thing. I would have quite a few in the same night, a half here, another half, a whole one, a bit of speed… It made you love everyone in that field.
